From: Rumncoke Date: 12 Oct 09 - 06:42 PM On the South coast of England the colours in the leaves are beautiful this year - rather delicate, but so many shades of yellow to orange. Some years they are like flames, but this is quite unusual. It will be something to take photos of if we have any deep snow - we usually get a few flurries and a few frosty mornings, maybe a bit of fog now and again. I have not yet had to put on anything over my tee shirt when going outside, that will not be until a few weeks closer to Christmas. Anne Croucher |

It was cold here too....we had the woodstove AND pellet stove both going. At the moment, noon on the following day, I have let the fire die and the pellet stove is off...it's a beautiful day and the snow is gone. Michelle |
