Considering how well Liz I and Gráinne Ní Mháille got along, what other explanation can there be?

So what brings this question up? Something you are reading, maybe?

Okay for an opening Rap but now post something long and boring and pointless so I can argue the case for something only vaguely related but equally pointless and try to make you look bad. Then you get to post your real point which has nothing to do with Liz at all. I can then make the case for whatever I can find that's even more silly and boring with no justification at all short of my dislike for you and of course, yours for me.

If we have properly studied our cross pond brethren I know we can do this right! Then again, the whole thing sounds too exhausting by half...............How about a beer instead?

Well, Spaw, you have to have the beer first...and then start arguing about things that don't really matter...and then have more beer..and then start fighting...and then have more beer and start hugging each other's bruised bodies...and have more beer.

But which beer?
It's bound to be the wrong sort - namby pamby fizzy "lite" stuff that can only lead to excessive flatus and misery for all in the vicinity...
Quack!
GtD.

I vote for the beer. Just because Liz wore an Tuatha Secret Decoder Ring*, had an Irish Enigma in her garderobe, and wrote letters to Ireland in secret invisible ink compounded partly of Guinness and Jameson means little.

Let's have the beer. Moose Drool, Bitch Creek, Fat Tire, Cutthroat or Dead Guy? Name yer poison.

*Send in three used beer mats from Murphy's Stout and E1.00 for postage and handling.

? How do you know it wasn't Gráinne who was an English spy....her husbands kept dieing......isn't that a little suspicious?

No more so than Liz not having any husbands at all, but instead wheedling strategy out of Essex and then, to cover her tracks, having him killed just as she did to poor Chris Marlowe.

I don't think this is very funny. As you all know, these subjects are near and dear to me and your poking fun at them sets me off.

Now...... could I get some cites on the link to Lizzie I and Republicanism? I knew I really liked that old woman.

Pass me a Guinnes....

Mick

Ah, Mick, both she and Grainne were monarchists. The GOP didn't come along until a wee bit later. But ye know, I wouldna doubt at all if Lizzie might not have taken to Tone or Casement or Parnell or even by God The Great Liberator himself, she havin' an eye for the lads, ya see. After all, wasn't it an Irishman who said of herself, "The Virgin Queen...and you talk about Irish bulls?"
