The Lancet has just published a finding that fluctuating blood pressure is more dangerous re causing strokes than consistently high blood pressure.

Swings in blood pressure 'could better predict stroke than high average readings

Now I can go to my GP and say, that my fluctuations need seeing too. Especially since all 4 of my grandparents suffered from strokes. Wonder if I will have to wait until the NHS takes this information on board and approves treatment?
