Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Ranger1 From: Bat Goddess Date: 22 Mar 10 - 08:31 AM Tami shows her age every time she's asked to produce her driver's license -- which is every time she tries to buy booze. And even then some people refuse to believe her real age (probably thanks to that proverbial painting in the attic). Happy B.D., Tami!!! Celebrate for at least a month. I look forward to seeing what choice prezzie Mary has unearthed for you. (Pink and purple cake, huh...prolly better than that frog cake last year or the year before.) Linn |

Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Ranger1 From: Janie Date: 23 Mar 10 - 10:53 PM That girl is either still celebrating (be careful, that celebrating is a prime cause of beginning to show your age), got trampled by a moose charging a rival, or has been swinging a pick-axe for two days, restoring trails before the spring tourist season arrives in the parks and state forests! |
Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Ranger1 From: ranger1 Date: 24 Mar 10 - 02:31 PM Chainsaw, Janie. Spent the day itself cutting firewood for the upcoming camping season, had J-boy's "little" brother volunteering for the day. He got an idea of what working in parks is really like - one interruption after another. But the kid's good company and we spend the time I'm not actually running the chainsaw talking about music. Kid's a gifted guitarist with eclectic taste. But yes, I'm still celebrating, haven't had a party yet, so I refuse to stop celebrating until I've at least had ice cream and cake! |
Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Ranger1 From: gnu Date: 24 Mar 10 - 03:05 PM r1... sent you a pic of lots of deer steak. |
