on Monday my mom went to heart surgery and she was very positive
about this when she went in .
But now its three days ago and she is very ill and the doctors
are telling us that this can go both way s...she is 66 years old ...
they hold her a sleep and she is connected with all kinds of machines
and wires all over ...strange to she my mom like this ., today they called and told she was going from this world to another ...but she is a fighter so she is still with us ..:O) and still she is status Q

so tonight I pray ...and light candles ...and hug my
children ...:O)

After my mom had heart surgery, she had trouble waking up. She'd had a couple of tiny strokes, but the doctors didn't figure it out for almost a week. She woke up, although late, and didn't have major problems. Seeing her hooked up to all those machines, so quiet and pale, was the most frightening thing I've ever seen. I remember how lost I felt, how afraid. It's not the same thing you're going through, but maybe enough to sympathize with you.

Your mother is still a young woman, she will come through this. You are going through some fear,uncertainty and doubt right now, it's only natural. and she is sign a very slow recovery ...
her heart had some problems last night ..but its ok for now .
I know she can do this .

Some tears came down from my eyes ....when I wrote all those message

Hallo all , update , my mom is awake there are still lot of sleeping drugs in her so it will take 16 - 20 days ..to go away from the body ..
the heart is doing well , but her lunge is not ..so we at this moment don´t know what is going on there .

Thanks for checking in, Skarpi. So glad to hear she is awake and her heart is okay. I know we're each different, but I had a little trouble with my lungs after heart surgery. Deep breathing, singing, playing a Native American flute, or even a harmonica can all help to regain lung function after being down so long, providing there are no other problems. Your mom is young and it sounds as though she is strong and as she's a grandma, I can tell you, from experience, she's got strong motivation to stick around.:-) Patience, thanks givings, candles, and Light all coming your way and to your mom.

I would think just lying down would be poor for the lungs...fluid buildup etc. I wonder if they could prop her up for parts of the day...mg
