Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: Jack the Sailor Date: 13 Feb 11 - 04:19 PM I hope you got signed permission slips from all of the busy bodies and thread topic police before you opened this can of worms! LOL I'll be a little more interested in this draft than most. My home state team. The Carolina Panthers pick first and I am interested to see where Cam Newton is selected. I'd like to see the Panthers pick Newton but only if they can trade their number 1 pick for someone else's first and second round pick or something similar. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 13 Feb 11 - 04:59 PM We don't need no stinking slips. Or any posts about anything other than Yankee football. Oh, yeah, we might have the stray rant, but lets get ready for some football eh? |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: Dave MacKenzie Date: 13 Feb 11 - 05:29 PM So long as the poor little rich boys who own the teams don't take the ball away. |

Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: Jack the Sailor Date: 13 Feb 11 - 07:44 PM There are some good QB's available and the 9ers should have a good pick. |

Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: J-boy Date: 14 Feb 11 - 11:33 PM I heard the Pats just attached the franchise tag to Logan Mankins. He probably doesn't much like it but hopefully it will lead to a long term deal. That man anchors the Patriots O-Line. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: J-boy Date: 15 Feb 11 - 12:13 AM Logan Mankins and Matt Light are indispensable. Did I spell that big word right? We NFL fans are a bit dumb. It's all just brutish violence, don't you know. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 15 Feb 11 - 05:43 AM Wellll... I think the $10.1M might happen. Be a shame if they actually do find a trade. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: J-boy Date: 16 Feb 11 - 01:26 AM Let's not forget the Patriots have six picks in the first three rounds of the draft this year. There's gonna be a lot of interesting things going on. Bill is always two steps ahead of the competition. Or four. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: Raptor Date: 16 Feb 11 - 07:47 AM The Last time we had a good pick(#1) we picked Alex Smith instead of Arron Rogers (Supperbowl winner) |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: olddude Date: 16 Feb 11 - 10:01 AM Oh with that organization I think as long as all the coaches and scout staff remains in place you will always be a contender. Tommy has a lot of years left before his career is done and those receivers are always first class. In addition the defense is strong but needs a little work. You will see that next season I think. They will beef it up this draft pick. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: J-boy Date: 07 Mar 11 - 01:59 AM Too bad about Neal retiring. He was one of the best guards in the NFL. I thought he had many more years ahead of him but then again I don't play the game. |

Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 05 Sep 11 - 02:00 PM Saints or Packers? I see Manning may miss starting this weekend... first time in regular season. 227 straight including playoffs... second only to Favre (who still doesn't know how to pronounce his name). I hadn't realized Manning was MVP 4 times. I like his commercials too. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: GUEST Date: 05 Sep 11 - 05:39 PM Should be a good game. I'm thinking Packers by a field goal. |

Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: ranger1 Date: 08 Sep 11 - 10:56 PM So far a GREAT game! From the first series when the Packers marched the ball up the field for a touchdown to watching Sproles get the ball and cruise down the field. I love this sport! |

Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: GUEST,JTS Date: 12 Sep 11 - 12:01 PM How about that young Cameron Newton tying the rookie record for yards per game. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 18 Sep 11 - 01:37 PM That was cool! Now, this uniform change stuff pisses me off. Ooooh, I'll get used to it but I don't like it. The Jets jest don't look like Jets. 55 yard field goal and it was like child's play. Don't care much for that either. Yes, I am in a bad mood. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 25 Sep 11 - 11:26 AM Hey J... to hot here today to wear my Pat's hoody. Maybe if I turn on the AC? I think the Bills have a good chance to surpise a LOT of people this afternoon. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: Dazbo Date: 25 Sep 11 - 04:19 PM How are my team, The Huston Oilers, doing this season? |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: GUEST Date: 25 Sep 11 - 04:56 PM Sadly you were all too right gnu. Those four INTS by Brady didn't help much either. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 25 Sep 11 - 05:01 PM Told ya... only thing is, because it was 3 points, that screws my $625.15 win on a $2 bet. The Oilers? Try NFL.com. I hear from Rap the Cubs are goin all the way so why bother? BTW, I am watching Yankee football and, on the other TV I am watching Scotland beating Argentina. Ya can't that with a stick. |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: olddude Date: 25 Sep 11 - 05:02 PM Who would figure Bills would beat the Pats ... great thing about football ya can never figure on any sunday huh |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 25 Sep 11 - 07:05 PM I kinda figured they would Dan. Just a feeling. Too bad they only won by three though. That is considered a tie in the betting pool here and I had the Bills to win. Oh well, $2 ain't gonna break me. But that $625.15 was lookin good for a while but it still would have depended on the Steelers losing... a long shot at best. Yes, Dan I DID bet against the Steelers. In my defense, I bet against the Pats too... MY team. Hey... if yer gonna bet $2, why bet three locks (hahahaha) and win $1? |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: gnu Date: 09 Oct 11 - 01:05 PM I was shocked... Bradshaw said the Steelers were beat up and gonna lose today! |
Subject: RE: BS: NFL 2011 (US football) From: olddude Date: 09 Oct 11 - 01:15 PM If you get the Buffalo Bills Eagle game. My oldest daughter will be doing the half time show with the other NFL cheerleader Alumi. They were invited to come back for Breast Cancer fund raiser which this game is all about today. My wife will be out on the field also as one of the survivors ... |
