Cheshire Folk are holding free sessions on Fri and Sat 29-30 April at Bickerton Village hall.
We had to be there to stock up the bar and kitchen for the evening ceilidh and concert so we decided to make it a pre ceilidh or concert warm up. We will be there from 1pm but dont expect any refreshments until we have sorted ourselves out in the bar ! Shouldnt take to long...meanwhile you could be playing away.
There is room for 20 caravans and campervans too but campers will have to go to the Bickerton Poacher, or The Olive Grove. I think there is a camping barn at Broxton.

Who is coming ?

I notice that although the link in the first post give Madcap as the ceilidh band it doesn't name the caller. as a dancer that is something I want to know, some callers I go out of my way to see. Makes the difference between a dance being ordinary, special or a disaster, as much as the band. Both have to be right.

Will, you can buy tickets from me Lynne on 077 900 82523 or Busy Lizzie on 01606 834969...or online at

Mo, the caller is Ralph Smethurst and I have heard he is a great caller who makes sure everyone has an enjoyable time. In fact I just had some great feedback on him only 15 minutes ago. You will find he is listed on my website
www.amandalynnemusic.com but Cheshire folk webmaster only received the information this week and has not had time to add his name yet to the cheshire folk site.
