BS: Malfunctioning Email with Yahoo

For the last three days my email has been inaccessible. It jitters and jerks and will not go beyond the opening page. It makes sounds as though it were blocking pop-ups- and maybe it is.

I ran a malware scan- it says everything is fine. My anti-virus machinery also says nothing is wrong.

But something is. Any ideas?

I'm wondering if it's your browser, Ebbie. Which browser are you using? You may have luck going to "tools" and deleting Internet files. You may have to delete cookies, too.

We've been having similar issues with Yahoo for most of this week. We did receive an email early in the week from the good folks at Yahoo informing us that they were making changes to "improve our email experience" (business speak for "it's not gonna work like it used to") and just yesterday a completely unsolicited email updating our "terms" which included the rather odd notice that if we "harass" their employees we would have our service terminated. No problems today, but the cynic in me thinks something is up...

I also have a problem with Yahoo.
When I try to type out a reply or a regular email message, the first few letters don't appear at the beginning but at the end!

Hmmmm. Veddy interesting. First I'll do as Joe O suggests- haven't cleaned out the cache or the temp folder for a few days- and start over.

But sure sounds like it's a Yahoo problem. In the meantime I'm switching over to my gmail account.

Just to finish off this subject:

I discovered that when I click first on Contacts, everything steadies and I can then get into my email. Curious.

I had the same problem, the only way to resolve your current issue is to reinstall Yahoo. That worked for me.
