25 yards, rapid fire with a 40 cal Glock .. 13 rounds all in the black. Then with the weak hand, 12 rounds in the black, one pulled right to the first ring ... pretty decent shootin ya think

I've told many a story here over the years about my bro and my old man. But, when ya shoot fer a livin, ya get the prctice. I was a heck of a shot once upon a time, long ago and far away. But never with a pistol. Pistols are frowned upon in these here parts.

What's the name of that shootin show again? I might try to find it. Swamp People is on my TV right now but it's a rerun. >:-(

Well, 13 in the black (on what size target?) out of 1000 rounds fired ain't so good. Now, 13 out of 15 on a 6 inch black would be pretty good. And what was the wind speed and direction? What grain bullets? RN or HP or JHP or ball or what? And was that a measured 25 yards or just a guess? Handloads (what powder and how much?) or factory loads?

Man, you don't give me enough information to judge! And oh yeah, was the target moving or still?

shooting is a fun sport, nothing more. The only thing i ever hurt is a paper target. i don't hunt anymore. I only will keep a fish I catch if someone wants to eat it otherwise I let them go ... knocking holes in paper is fun and part of my heritage .. nothing more. Hey Rap I know how far exactly, grape posts are 9 ft apart exactly . It was 25 yards

Wind speed and direction? Barometric pressure? Sunny or cloudy? Iron sights, red dot, laser, or what? Trigger pull weight? One or two hand grip? Combat crouch, standing, sitting, kneeling, prone? And again, what size bull -- even gnu could put 13 out of 13 in the black at 25 yards when the black is 50 feet across.

best one is line up empty shotgun shells 50 ft. put the bullet through the tube and out the backside brass without missing ... that is a tough shot. I practice that one all the time.   by the way, my 13 rounder was at 25 yards ... 75 ft ... that is a hell of a hard shot to put all 13 in the black

Sir,

I have done that numerous times in both practice and exhibition. You might try shooting six glass balls out of the sky before any touch the ground, walking away, and then running back to shoot the seventh. Or using a .22 rifle to cut a playing card in two edge-on. Or to shoot the ashes off a cigarette being held in the lips of the future Kaiser Wilhem II -- it was suggested later that I could have saved the world much grief if I had missed.

I don't know this "Glock" pistol and assume that it is of European manufacture. Anyway, that is decent shooting.
