Another vital "should" question for Mucatters to sound off about!

Go to it, folks. No fence-sitters, please!

Should chimps be allowed to play tuba?

Nah. Play in a tub, perhaps.

I live near monkey world - I love chimps - not in the carnal sense. But I do love chimps. they actually need clean blankets to play with. they like them. But if Sally asked me for a tuba, I get her one.

Sally was a beach photographers prop in the Spanish resorts, she was badly treated - burned with cigarettes and her teeth pulled out, and taught to smoke as a parlour trick - this last is why she clutches a twig all time remebering when she had to smoke to save herself from punishment.

I would think it would be beneath their dignity to play A tuba.

Them suckers got 'nuff lip to play at least three at a time.

The one we let try out in my band kept going out in the rain and flooding the instrument. Made a terrible burbling sound.
That's why I invented the Sousaphone.

Chimps can play an instrument with their feet too, just like using a second pair of hands. Imagine the possibilities. A chimp could theoretically play the banjo with his feet, an accordion with his hands, and a kazoo with his mouth...all in unison.

Allowed? What do you mean "allowed"? If a chimp *wants* to play the tuba, just who in hell is going to stop it?!

(Hawk - Just what do you have against chimps anyway? Any one of those is a musical crime. All three... Are you trying to persuade someone to make the species extinct, just in case?)

There is nothing wrong with them playing in a band, but if they begin to play with themselves in public, maybe some form of censurship is in order?

Just a long memory, Little Hawk. Considering the subject and the amount of stuff appearing on YouTube lately, I figured they had to have the Nairobi Trio there somewhere. I used to watch Ernie Kovacs a lot in the 1950s. That man was a comedic genius, in addition to being slightly insane. Great combination!

Does Don find this stuff on U-Tuba?

Shouldn't the quesstion be "Should a Chimp play a tuba aloud?"

I'd say the answer in NO! Any ape that tries should be forced to undergo a Tuba Ligation. That'll stop 'em!

Next thing you know, they'd be having test-tuba babies exhibiting their bass desires all over the jungle, and Tarzan would have to be giving out his ape calls in bass to sound authentic.

A horrifying thought!.....

So Chongz was invited to a Christmas party and him one heck of a good time... Might of fact, so good that when he woke up the following morning he didn't have a clue how he got back to LH's and was a fraid that he might have made a scene the night before so he had LH drive him over to where the party was held and knocked on the door...

"Hi, was I here last night", Chongz asked...

"Yes, you were and seemed to have enjoyed yourself quite a bit..."

"Well, did I do anything embarrassing???"

"Well, let's just say that you were entertaining..."

Let me ask you one more question, mam... Do you really have a gold toilet???"

At this point the lady yells upstairs, "Hey, Ralph, I think I found out who shit in your tuba..."

Never mind...

B;~)
