Just thought I would share a few of ours.

Every years we watch "Its Wonderful Life.

We buy at least one ornament that reflects our interests. We have, Light houses, a row boat. a Nfld puppy in a stocking, a hockey playing snow man a Speedy Gonzales Chimenea this year a Carolina Panthers Snow man, Red Chile Pepper, A Johnny Cash hockey puck that plays "Jackson" with him and June singing and an "Its a Wonderful Life" Ornament with George and Mary on it.

We always put the presents around the tree and we nominate one person to hand each present out and don't move on to the next one, until the previous one has been opened and all the wrappings etc put in a rubbish bag and the person has said a thank you.

My personal Christmas trad is to either forget to serve either the stuffing or parsnips or both after the meal is over and dusted. We know there is something missing but not until everything is cleared away, it happens every time.

Our tradition is to put a 'clue' on every present, but the goal is to have a clue that is totally unsolvable before unwrapping the gift but comprehensible once it is opened. Now my youngest is 25 we have this down to a fine art

I'm going to play 'Silent Night' on Christmas Eve at a midtown Presbyterian church. A friend will play guitar, and I will join her with recorder. This is getting to be a tradition.

Evidently these Presbyterians learned only recently that the first time 'Silent Night' it was played, it was played on a guitar. Now they are in love with the idea!

We gather Christmas Eve at a relative's house for the Feast of Seven Fishes, an Italian tradition. We rarely have seven, but there are always at least 3 fish dishes in addition to some sort of pasta for the non-fish-eaters among us. We have taken to calling it the Feast of Several Fishes. It's lots of fun and we are always to exhausted Christmas Day to do much of anything but open presents and thank each other.

The several fishes sounds like fun.

Silent Night on recorder and guitar sounds wonderful.

Carol and I do verbal clues. You seem to have madw them a science.

Pasty I empathize. We have a dry erase board on the fridge to put checklists.

I always do my Christmas baking to Handel's Messiah... all of it.. turned up very loud.. and i nearly know all the words of every part. And, loads of catters know this, I collect Christmas tree ornament from all over the world. This year new ones from USA and Austria.
