About 20 years ago I read my book, Stories told in the kitchen, on tape. It was distributed by North country Press, and, would you believe, I don't have one?

If anyone has that tape I would love to have a copy of it.

Hi Have just looked at this site. Some years ago you said you were writing a song/ poem about the magi, but no kings in it. I quite agree with no kings! Did you ever write it? I'm thinking about writing next year's nativity starting after the manger and with the magi visiting Nazareth as they must actually have done. I'd love to know if you have written anything we could use.

That's a link to the copies available on Amazon. Some are advertised as used (from 'acceptable' to 'like new') and some are advertised as new. Offhand I don't see the tape mentioned.

If you have a couple of hours, and an Amazon account, you could contact each of those sellers and ask if the book has the tape included.

My experience has been that most of these listings will also be on abebooks and other store sites.

Kendall, I'll be around here 12/24, 25, and will see if Barbara's copy is still in good playable condition. If so, I plan to make a digital copy on my "for music only" computer and see it there are any issues to clean-up before burning a CD copy. I'd like to give you a copy suitable as a re-master. I'll keep you posted as to my progress.

Bobert, Are you sure you are not confusing golf with the internet? I once heard a sound clip of Al Gore claiming he invented the internet.

No, I have it from a reliable source, Duane... Ya' see, a few folks were sitting around enjoying a cold beer, which BTW, Al Gore also invented earlier that evening and, well, so Al invents the internet and his drenking buddies were so impressed that they challenged him to invent somethin' else so he then invented golf... They didn't think much of it but seems to have taken off fairly well...

Actually, folks, Gore never said that. He said he adapted the internet for government use. Not sure of the exact words.
