Man, I would make a *terrible* witch/nature god, I missed the solstice *again* ...

But Happy New turn of the planet around the sun! May this orbit dance you healthily and luckily around your spiritual core as our home travels around the core of our world! I hope that when another cycle has gone, we find ourselves here again, only better!

Love,

-Mrrzy

Same to you, Mrrz! But this number, (1)4,000,002,012
, is a bit obscure. Four billion? Fourteen billion? What is it presuming to count, and why is the first digit in parentheses?

Well, I figure using 2012 for the common era is OK, as it's within rounding error of either the approx 4.5 billion years the planet has been around or the approx 14.5 by the universe has...

Winter solstice is a good choice of new year.

Your last reminds me of the kid seeing a dinosaur in the museum and asking the gallery warder how old it is.

"4 million and two years years and 5 months old."

"How do you know its age so exactly?"

"Well, when I started here, it was 4 million years old and I've worked here two years and and 5 months."

LOL!

Also, it occurs to me that before the planet the term "year" is rather useless, so it's really 4,500,002,012, happy new year all over again!
