Hello all, again I will try to tell you more about Iceland. To begin with I will tell about Fairy or the small people, I got this story from my father and it is called The Fairy-tale-begining.

Once a traveling man was lost, and he did not know were he was, he kept on walking until he came to a small cottage. On this cottage he had no knowledge what so ever. He knocked the door and an old women came to the door, she said come in sir and so he did. The cottage was not big but nice and warm and the old woman invided him to the living room, there where two other good looking women. He did not notice other folks on the cottage, he was well taken got food and drink and was invided to sleep over the following night. In the old days in Iceland there was a costome, if there was a girl you coult sleep with her over the night. Well he did ask and he slept with one of the girl, he did try to bend over to the girl but he coult not feel her in any way. The girl was behind him he saw that, so he tried to hug her but with no luck. Then he asked her to explain to him why..... she said this to him. Once the old Devil started the rebellion in heaven, he and the everbody witch helped him was kicked from heaven, the people witch had watch him go was also kicked out from heaven. One other group of people was kicked out from heaven , they did not watch or helped to fight the Devil , they were send down to Earth , and they were told to live in mountains and rocks. This people can not live among other then them self. They can be good and bad , and witch way they do it , it can be big, we do not have body and we can come and go when ever we want to said the girl. I am one of this fallen spirit , and you cannot get any more of me.This man did nothing more that night, but he told this story to other people.

This is only one of many storys we have on Fairy´s. I want to aske you all, have you ever got a visit from behind, what to you think of this, is it a delusion or is it real? I my self get visits now and then, and at first it was fear but after some time I got use to the visits. Who visit us? People we knew? The Fairys, from ghosts?. I got visit from people I knew very well.

Well this is good for now, I am watching E.R. and I can tell you this, Hillary Clinton is coming to Iceland among many other people mostly women. There are gonna be many many many women in Iceland this weekend.

Very KOOOLLLL story, Skarpi! Thank you so miuch for posting it. It is so interesting. I have had "visits" from people I know, from ghosts I don't know; and, from what I think of as *nature spirits*. Never been scared; always gives me a good feeling of comfort. Only one time was I scared. A friend had gone home for Christmas and committed suicide. When his spirit came to me, I dind't understand what was happening and he was so sad, that it scared me.

Skarpi -- By "visits from behind," do you mean visits from the past? Or visits from spirits "beyond" the ordinary?

(Why is Hillary Clinton going to be in Iceland this weekend?) (I should know this...)

"She'll be continuing her work as an ambassador of the United States," White House press secretary Joe Lockhart said. The trip focuses on "democracy in Europe, and the many programs that she's worked so hard on," he said, including women's rights and economic empowerment.

After a brief stop in Italy, she'll go to Iceland for this year's Vital Voices conference, focusing on women's participation in democracy worldwide.

Icelanders are/were definitely at ease with the world "behind". My mother, although of norwegian parents, was born in Reykjavik and grew up in the Vestmannaeyjar, Heimaey. When she was a reconvalescent patient in the early 30's, the woman in the bed next to her made an appointment with and was visited by, a doctor who lived in the 18th century!! My mother never saw or heard a thing, but then, it wasn't her appoinment.

Do we have Halloween In Iceland?. No we do not, but some people who moved from the states back home do the Halloween. There is one place that Halloween is hold in Iceland and that is In Naval airforce base in Keflavík , I think about 4000 thousand americans lives there. I have been there on Halloween and I had a great time up there. I am not gonna be around all the women , I am gonna stay at my home with my familiy. All the best to you , skarpi Iceland.
