I enjoy Steve's mendacity updates but I'm waiting for Mittens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time agsainst a reporter/journalist who knows how to use the info. If it happens he'll melt down.......and we can all smile goofily and imitate is nervous little laugh.................

The trouble with pointing out a politician's lies is that supporters will completeley ignore it, or they'll say it's a lying smear - or if the lie can't be covered over, they'll treat it a bit of admirable smart pratice in the rough and tumble of politics.

As for the undecided, they'll mostly be people who aren't too interested ite minutiae of politics, and in any case they take it as read that all politicians are liars anyway.

No matter what country you are in.

He probably actually thinks that an attack by Israel will actually just mean a one-off raid without serious consequences.

Maybe he even believes that it would reduce the possibiity of Iran getting nuclear weapons, rather than turn that possibility into a ironcad certainty.

While I agree that it would be tragedy to put Romney in the White House, the very worst thing would be to have a Republican congress with Romney in the White House. Whoever is pulling the strings of present day republicans figure they will manage Romney in the same way they controlled Bush. Romeny may be a little smarter than Bush in some ways but his ego is larger and he is no match for those manipulating the present day republican party. His mouth coupled with his thoughtlessness will certain damage this country in the eyes of the world should he be elected. Obama has, at least, raised the level of respect for the country worldwide although the republican opposition to every positive attempt has had a neutralizing effect.
