The old includes; easily programable Diebold machines and the ability to simply switch memory cards for the final count. The old propoganda and religion baiting messages.
The old Jim Crow State laws to suppress the vote.
The old 'out spend' your opponent and 95% of the time you win.
The old voter intimidation techniques and the oldest of all, the great big lie a month before the election.

The new techniques now include secret money from around the world funneled through The Commerece dept, super pacs and rove and Koch Bros pacs that in fact include donations from middle eastern nations, hedge funds and undoubtedly China.Some of the new techniques are in the form of seeming technical broadcast mistakes when MSNBC programs are in mid sentence interrupted by a commercial that begins "Don't end up in jail like me, the IRS will..." . Other times sinister going to goverment jail ads properly follow a real program break. An attempt by hackers to expose Romneys tax records by threat of ransom is now being investigated.

but now something very new is afoot.
With the suspense of a spy thriller, a new manipulation of human perception and emotions is underway in the oderless tastless drugging of tens of thousands of people we get to view on TV coverage at the Democratic National Convention. While the Democrats appear to have grown a backbone and have used similar negative campaigning, they have been too cute by two in this latest influence producing conspiracy.

Because of an unlikely seating arrangement the national broadcaster Tom Brocaw fell victim to an overdose flowing from the air conditioning vents. Due to sommeone overlooking the duct system to a sound sealed braodcast media room, tom recieved 100 times for of the gas than was necessary for the desired effect.

Tom Brocaw is now released from the hospital and his blood samples and medical records are sealed. At his arrival no tests to reveal the agent responsible would have been performed because the compound is a natural bio messenger produced by the body.

In colusion with Roberts Oxygen Corporation the substance pumped into the convention center was a mixture of extra oxygen and Oxytocin.

The tanks that were brought into the convention center's climate control center for the purpose of mind body alteration where labled "refridgerent back up R-134a" and have been returned and purged according to our source. The only evidence that remains are 6 people who had blood taken within 12 hours of the last day of the convention.

As unliekly as this sounds, especially for the democratic party there is so far no evididence to directly link any part of the DNC to have implimented such an unlikely plan, which is where Wikileaks comes in...


Now of course I made this all up from an idea I had 3 years ago.

If either one of them had, the usual crowd would be here to ridicule them for doing so...and assert that they are one and the same person. ;-) However, since Donuel has posted it instead, the reaction will be a bit different, I think. The question here is seldom content, but who that content comes from. The real question is, will Spaw get up the energy to walk to the computer and type something brilliant like, "YO, JACKASS! Those aren't twisted and mean opinions or half truths mixed with a lie inside.....every one of those is fact, not my opinion, fact. Not sure about 95% but that's close enough for me. The GOP is on an obvious campaign of voter suppression, Diebold in some places still remains a problem.

What if you were to construct a framework in which a big lie would become THE foremost perception of a distinct group of people?
How would you do it.

As you suspect you need a handful of facts. Next you need a belief system, folk lore, religion or a commonly accepted frame of reference to place your facts. It does not have to be reasonable or have any credible reality, all you need to do is make the permanent association of two things that would denigrate the other, and elevate your side. Then repeat redundantly.

Let's build one (conspiracy theory) here.

The proposition is that all republicans are aliens or under alien control. You can make the aliens terrestrial or extra terrestrial it does not matter. In turn the Democrats are the true Earthlings fighting to preserve and defend Earth from alien take over.

Aliens would need an established group such as a political party/religion or club to most easily resemble, take over and then implement their preferences. Lets say they see the Republican party as having more common ground to their needs and wants with existing links to money and power and decsion making.

What would the aliens do? I suppose they would try to brain wash people and make themselves as invisible as possible while their minions do the glad handing. The aliens would lie about their true motivation. What is their motivation?
Let's say it is to control, subjugate and eventually remove Earthlings from control of their own planet.
They would use war, divide and conquer and control of the worldwide financial systems to destroy, isolate and build their own expensive projects for a very exclusive few.

What do aliens supposedly do in popular culture????????????
For one thing they PROBE. I don't know how that got started exactly but everyone knows aliens love to probe Earthling's behinds.
Who wants to do the probing in current American society??
