Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 12 Sep 12 - 06:06 AM Was there a minimum number of drinks you had to imbibe before starting this game, or was it done stone-cold sober? |

Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: Hamish Date: 13 Sep 12 - 06:48 AM I think 3s were fizz and 7s buzz. So 37 was fizz-buzz. But it would have been fizz (30), fizz, fizz, fizz-fizz, fizz, fizz-buzz, fizz, fizz-buzz, fizz, fizz, 40, 41, buzz... |
Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: Bert Date: 13 Sep 12 - 11:24 AM When we used to play it the fives were fizz. So it went 1, 2, 3, 4, fizz, 6, buzz, 8, 9, fizz fizz, and so on. |

Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: gnu Date: 13 Sep 12 - 03:37 PM SiX... no. Simple mental acuity developement games for children. I also have heard that stoners enjoy such games. Such games seem beyond tedious to me as an adult... unless I smoked, perhaps? I may never know. Anyone ever play "Murder" at a dinner party? Now, that can be fun. Wink! |

Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: GUEST Date: 14 Sep 12 - 11:05 AM "Buzz" was (is) a drinking game. Drinkers take turns counting off until they reach the number 7, or a multiple of 7 (14, 21, 28, etc), at which point the drinker is supposed to say "buzz." The count goes up to 100. If the drinker misses the number, s/he is supposed to drink until the other players count up to 7. |
Subject: RE: BS: 1,2,3,4,5,6, buzz... From: gnu Date: 14 Sep 12 - 12:55 PM And the variations, as noted above, are endless such as adding a "buzz" on any number containing a 7 and reversing the turn order upon a buzz. If you hesitate or count off out of turn you are out of the game... 77 often creates confusion and sometimes arguements. Re "Murder"... pieces of paper in a hat, one marked with an "M"... the evening carries on as usual and the murderer "kills" with a wink. Once killed, one must count to 60 before declaring they are dead and out of the game. One can accuse someone of being the culprit but are out of the game if incorrect. Sounds a tad childish but goes great with wine and cheese. |
