They must be very brave. I'd hate to go through all that surgery and pain. If it means a lot to them, good luck with it, but I already have too much in that department fortunately, so have never had to consider it. Have to say, in the light of the recent scare about implants, it's a bit dodgy to say the least. They could be storing up major probs in the future.

I think it says FAR MORE about the people who gawk at them, to be honest...

Being somewhat overly well-endowed naturally, I get sick to death of men who stare at my chest whilst talking to me....One bus driver actually got me to bend my knees so that FINALLY his eyes were on my face....He looked suitably embarrassed...and quite fecking rightly!

Younger women in the UK have blossomed in the "Big Naturals" department thanks to mothers putting them on birth control injections from an earlier age. It seems a side effect of the injections is much large breasts.

Few here in Ledbury require implants. Natural busty women are now the norm.

Personally I've never found physical appearance or attributes attract me particularly. Some of the most alluring and delicious men I've known wouldn't pass muster to look at, or in the trouser department either. What blew me away was their conversation, personality and attention they gave. A man who really engages with you and communicates beautifully is a real turn-on, because you feel you can form a rewarding and interesting relationship with him. Anyone can bonk. When I read this thread title I thought it was about idiots on the cat who pretend to be something that they are not. I haven't used the word boob since I was six unless I was referring to someone who was not very bright.
Now don't get me wrong I do find a woman with attractive looks to be a pleasure to behold and I'm not trying to seem mature, I'm far from that. But it would be really fake to start a thread like this and pretend that you are doing anything but stir up shit.

Re reduction surgery, thank goodness it is available for women who have health issue due to large breasts.

Some people are so shallow that they feel obligated, for shallow and superficial reasons, to criticize lots of things that everyone else does.

Cosmetic surgeries, and other methods, are very often a very important part of what some people feel will make their entire lives more pleasant, and what they choose to do for themselves isn't something I worry a lot about.

Specifically with reference to the size of a woman's "boobs" (or of a man's "moobs"), I find that it makes no difference to me what makes them the size they are, so far as external appearances are concerned; and I'm not much inclined to surreptitiously "copping a feel" of those belonging to persons I've not known quite well.

The number of women I've known well enough to have them reveal what adjustments they've made isn't all that great, but there have been many more who have had, or wished for, reductions, than those who have had or wished for enlargements, although I've known several of both kinds.

I've known almost as many men who have had, or wanted to have, "moob reductions" as women who wanted changes.

So what?

How they got what they've got isn't my business. I do have friends for whom, to them, their physical appearance is a significant part of what makes them who they are. I have others for whom appearance makes no difference at all.

Friends are friends. Boobs are just nice toys that some of them happen to have.

At the purely fetish level, I favored relatively small breasts for at least half my life. But I can honestly say I never considered breast size when deciding whether to pursue a relationship with a woman. In any number of instances, I've known and liked some woman well, and if I had been asked, without her there to see, whether her breasts were smaller or larger than average, I wouldn't have had the least idea.

As cosmetic surgeries go, a moderate enlargement is not all that expensive, and although it's not exactly an "outpatient procedure" it takes only about a day in the ward. I suspect that a reduction might be slightly more involved, but none of the few women who have discussed having surgery of that kind have complained about it being at all difficult.

A hemmorhoidectomy is actually more expensive than the most common enlargement, but the difference is that one is generally covered (in the US) by insurance while the other has to be paid in full by the customer. It's very difficult to find any surgical procedure that can be done for the $2,000 total bill one friend paid for her "enhancement" (for which I advanced her half the fee - obviously I was single at the time). [Note that that price was some time ago.]

As commonly done now, an enhancement consists of planting a small pouch under whatever's there so what pokes out is just as real as it ever was - it just sits on a little sturdier foundation and pokes out a little farther. It's also nearly always quite simply reversed should one want that later.

In the case of this person, she had indicated an interest in "making a change," but I discouraged her since she didn't really seem sure about it. Two years later she again discussed it, and again I didn't encourage; but when she raised the question again in about six months she seemed really certain, and quite reasonable in her expectations; so I helped with the transportation and the up-front fee (and the bra-fitting a couple of hours after the surgery as mentioned above).

Results were quite satisfactory, but so far as I cared not at all necessary. They were just what she wanted and it quite obviously made her happier with herself. A couple of months later the new boobs worked and she married a truck driver with a big d***, spoiling my plans for her but saving us both from making each other miserable had my fantasies worked out. Twenty years later, they're still married, although I haven't discussed their long-term satisfaction with the procedure with them.

Those who have unrealistic fantasies about how "correcting mother nature's errors" will make their life perfect should usually not be encouraged. For those with realistic expectations an "adjustment" can be perfectly appropriate, and it's nobody's business whether or not they do, or have done, whatever they want for themselves.

When I was in my 20s a young girl came to work in the chemist shop, where I also worked. She was 17. She had the biggest chest I've ever seen and it was making her utterly miserable. She was already drinking, bringing in those tiny bottles of alcohol..

She wasn't excessively large at all, certainly not by the standard of some overweight people today...but because she was so unhappy, it was very hard for her to lose any weight because she ate and she drank to ease the emotional pain she was in.

Well, in we walked to the pub and conversation almost stopped dead!! She was decently dressed, but even so, the eyes of ALL the men in that room were rivetted on her boobs...and I felt so desperately sorry for her, because she knew damn well....

A few dashed over to us, desperate to chat her up, barely able to stop the saliva dripping from their mouths...I was appalled, to be honest. She'd had to endure this sort of behaviour for years...

Not good.

Even though it may have been made as a lighthearted gesture, I think that the last post by JohnInKansas has also made a significant point regarding why it is that men sometimes respond as they do to this particular portion of the female anatomy. We are destined to connect with/to that part of a woman immediately after we are birthed. It is that part of a woman's body that we have a real tactile relationship with, for months and in some cases, for several years afterward. As infants, we are dependent upon being fed in this manner. Even if we are not breast fed, but rather bottle fed some kind of formula, the position that a woman will hold her infant, while doing so, still places us in very close proximity to her breast. The kind of bond that is created by a mother breastfeeding or even bottle feeding her child is something that we carry with us all of our lives. It's a primal thing. Couple all of that with the mating urges that accompany sexual maturity and hormones coursing wildly though the veins of those discovering members of the opposite sex for the first time, and add a few chemical, herbal or liquid recreational imbibements and it's enough to make some loose any sense of proper behavior and revert to a more primitive state.

I believe that has merit. Ahhh... believe? Well, I would say what ***** said above is beyond just merit and speaks the absolute truth. I learned my appreciation for my belief in what ***** states from an Egyptian who I had the honour to study with at uni. I used to eat lunch with him in his office as often as I could (he a doc student and I a master's student). I asked him one day about why his wives were clothed to the hilt. He said, essentially, we are VERY sexual, far more than you that parade yourselves all day long. When you do that, and view pornography and all of that, you lose what I have in my bedroom. When my women take their clothes off for me when night falls, we have passion far greater than you.

I never forgot that. And I have viewed all others and their religions and their beliefs and their actions in a far different light than I might have if he did not educate me so frankly.

I could cite other encounters with people who educated me in one way or another, as we all could (saving some of the trolls) but when Mohammed ****** ***** *** explained to me why he had a better sex life than I had a chance of obtaining in my life (in his opinion), I learned to view all others with reverence and due consideration. Imagine that... Black Irish Cat'lic learns from devout Muslim... and I taught him some things about my way of life too.

I had relationships with many people from "all over" when I was at uni and when I worked in that city... I miss that interaction where I live now.

When I was in my teens, a male friend of mine, Bob, had big "man boobs". He was razzed so much for it that he developed a "big associated problem" and would never take his shirt off in public, even prefering to wear a t-shirt when swimming.

As Bob's close friend, I was travelling with his family visiting friends in to another city. All the kids (five or six of us) wanted went to the local urban indoor pool and we were having alot of fun horsing around. That was until a "pool lady" came up to Bob and abruptly told him that he had to take his top off, as "males were not allowed in the pool with tops on". Bob was embarassed by being singled out, and rather than taking his top off, exited the pool in embarassment. We all left the pool with Bob.

Bob's father privately explained to the "pool person" why Bob could not take his top off...but to no avail, as "the pool rules were the rules".

When we kids were told that we could go back in the pool, but Bob coulden't, we all protested - if Bob couldn't go in the pool, then we wouldn't go in. Looking back, it is rewarding to relect on this and how kids, even at a young age, are sensitive to the feelings of others.

Last night I was at a McDonald's to buy a guitar from a fellow. I noticed a very well built young lady going into the restaurant. I think hers were very real. When she came back out a few minutes later she was walking very briskly and her big boobs were all over the place.
