Okay, I ain't gonna say who it was with...or when this happened...but it cost me a fortune. First off, I blew over $5,000 bucks that night on the restaurant, the drinks, the entertainment, the boat ride, the trained elephants, and the decorations. That was money I coulda used to pay the rent and get my office roof fixed.

And on top of that, she stole my car! It was found later, parked under a bridge in Schenectady, minus the engine block. More expense!

Then there was the damage caused when the elephants violated their contract and stampeded. I don't wanta even talk about it.

I figger the whole night cost me upwards of $25,000. I am STILL payin' for it!

So...what was the most expensive date you ever went on, Henry? Be honest now. But don't name names. Gentlemen don't give names.

I shan't say, Chongo, or give details, but it involved a romantic trip-for-two and a two week stay at the International Space Station, with meals catered from a certain small bistro in Southern France.

It was long ago. When I was in the army and had money to burn. A cheap looking black streetwalker. But she wasn't so cheap. Over 30 years later and I'm still going for antibiotic injections. Oh, the heartbreak!!!*clap!!!clap!!!clap!!!clap!!!*

I reckon my most expensive one was the 1st date with my 1st wife 'cause that date lasted about 15 years, ended with her bangin' the sensei (or vice versa) at the local dojo where she taught karate, me stuck having to buy her a house and pay 13 years of child support...

I woulda done better just having never asked her out and just bought her a house and forgot about it all... But then again, I reckon my son is worth all of it... Still purdy f'n expensive...

What's a date? In the traditional sense of the word, I think I've only had one in my life. Must have been in the late 1960s. I took a lady (name forgotten) out to dinner (the Russian Tea Room?) & then to a concert (?) (Carnegie Hall?) & then home. I didn't get laid. It must have cost $50, a substantial sum in those days. However, I went thru the motions.

Heh! I suspected you were telling tales, Henry. I can't even remember what any of my dates cost, but I have had some costly "involvements" over a longer period of time. Were they worth it? Yeah, probably, in the sense of learning a few more things about life.
