Subject: BS: Benghazi From: olddude Date: 27 Nov 12 - 01:19 PM All the fuss about Benghazi ... ok here is the deal. The way covert operations work is, five minutes after the attack they knew exactly who and why the attack took place. What you do is put out the word that it is a demonstration. The bad guys let down their guard, start chatting on the cell phones, pat themselves on the back, move around freely. Then you got them on your radar, know who exactly organized it and put an action plan together. Then and only then you tell the American people oops it was not a demonstration. Why? it is about national security, disinformation ... standard procedure. The senators that don't get it , don't understand the way it all works. nuts |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Rapparee Date: 27 Nov 12 - 01:25 PM The Senate and House Intelligence Committees might know what was going on -- and their hearings are, for obvious reasons, closed and secret. The other stuff is just grandstanding, an attempt to convince the public that their Senators and Representatives in DC are actually, really, truly, earning their keep. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Jack the Sailor Date: 27 Nov 12 - 01:29 PM The Senators know how it works, certainly Graham and McCain do. But they don't have a cum stain a-on a dress so they need something to distract The President from his job and endanger National Security. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: GUEST,TIA Date: 27 Nov 12 - 01:41 PM Yup. A whole lot of State Department security personnel were killed in Iraq over the last decade. Any bitching from McCain and Graham and Fox News about that? Nope. Not a peep. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Jack the Sailor Date: 27 Nov 12 - 03:59 PM Yes TIA, Reagan lost 800 Marines to one bomb. Then turned the county's tail and ran. They could start with that. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: GUEST,999 Date: 27 Nov 12 - 04:29 PM The bomb you refer to killed 241 marines and injured about 100 others. The 800 number was the overall number of marines sent in. They were there with soldiers from some other countries. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Henry Krinkle Date: 28 Nov 12 - 07:12 AM You can expect misinformation from Sailor Jack. =(:-( )) |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: GUEST,TIA Date: 28 Nov 12 - 08:10 AM And from others you can expect more punctuation than words with none of it contributing any substance. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Rapparee Date: 28 Nov 12 - 09:53 AM I; don't, know. what: you mean! by that, TIA? Personally 'I' "never," use [punc}tua(tion, |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Henry Krinkle Date: 28 Nov 12 - 10:13 AM B-I,BI! B-I,BO! B-I BICKEY BI! BO!BO!BO!!! =(:-( D) |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Jack the Sailor Date: 28 Nov 12 - 12:27 PM Yes Krinkle is as usual right on the money. 241 Marines does not in any way compare in magnitude to 1 ambassador 1 staff and two mercenary "contractor" guards. If it had been 242 Marines, I might have had a point. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Henry Krinkle Date: 29 Nov 12 - 01:08 AM You said 800. Try to be accurate. Don't obamafuscate. =(:-( )) |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: sciencegeek Date: 29 Nov 12 - 05:53 AM This "concern" is merely a smokescreen. By some strange "coincidence", the 3 Republicans leading the smear attack on Susan Rice are the same 3 who supported Scott Brown in his failed bid for a Senate seat are now saying... oh no, never Susan Rice... but we'd love to see Kerry get the job of Secretary of State.... and leave unsaid that Kerry's Senate would look sooo good if our pal Brown got it in the special election... just like last time. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Greg F. Date: 29 Nov 12 - 12:40 PM This whole issue is just more Republican made-up bullshit as part of the Make Obama Fail agenda they stated as their #1 priority directly after he was first elected. Why any sentient being would give it the time of day passes my understanding. |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: GUEST,sciencegeek Date: 29 Nov 12 - 01:27 PM Why any sentient being would give it the time of day passes my understanding. Ah, there's the rub.... have you been reading some of the posts on Mudcat lately? Not everyone has been on their meds lately... |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Greg F. Date: 30 Nov 12 - 09:23 AM Er, You have a valid point................... |
Subject: RE: BS: Benghazi From: Bobert Date: 30 Nov 12 - 09:38 AM This has nothing to do with Benghazi and everything to do with a post-election temper tantrum by a few sour-grape Republican Senators with John McCain leading the other 2 year olds... The best way to deal with 2 year olds when they are going thru these is to ignore them and let them cry themselves out of it but... ...no... Our stupid Big Media has to keep putting a camera on them and thus... ...more wailing... Normal... BTW, has anyone seen that YouTube of the 2 year old having one of these things??? The parents keep moving around the house and every time they do and the kid can't see them he gets quiet but then goes looking for mom and dad and when he finds them he goes right back into his hissy fit... This goes on about a dozen times... It really is funny... B~ |
