Subject: RE: Folk Clubs in Malpas Area - info please From: GUEST,SqueezeBoxMike Date: 09 Jan 13 - 02:27 PM I know that The Red Lion in Malpas (Cheshire) would be happy to host a music night. There is an occasional session at Whitewell Village Hall, quite close to Malpas. Over in llangollen, the Sun Inn has an Open Mic session every Wednesday, The Swan, Pontfadog (near Chirk) has a session on the 1st Monday of the month (but this month, January 2013, it'll be on 14th January 2013) Let me know if you fancy meeting, maybe see about a session at the Red Lion, Malpas |
Subject: RE: Folk Clubs in Malpas Area - info please From: GUEST,Derek Schofield Date: 11 Dec 12 - 01:05 PM so, we seem to have confirmed that this is Malpas in Cheshire. There's a weekly folk club in Sandbach, a mainly music session in the Star at Acton near Nantwich on Thursdays, but no regular folk clubs in nantwich, Crewe. There are regular concerts in Shrewsbury.
