Subject: I'm Going to Live that Life From: Frankie Date: 31 Oct 99 - 01:14 PM This is the hymn sung by Joseph Spence on his '59 Folkways recording. As with most of his vocals on that great album not much is intelligible word-wise. Any help with these (or any other lyrics from that album) would be much appreciated . F |

One of the cuts began, "I'm gonna life the life I sing about in my song." It later says, "I can't go to church and shout on a Sunday, go out and get drunk and be a sinner on Monday." I don't know if this is the same song. I no longer have the album; but if you can find it, her words are quite clear and easy to pick up. |
