I am in hospital with my daughter and son-in-law who just gave birth to a tiny grandson. He does not have a name yet, but the hospital will hope to get a name for the birth certificate prior to going home tomorrow. He was a bit early....was induced because he was not growing inside and needed to come out to work on filling out and filling up. My daughter was born at home, and so was the eldest grandson. This was to have been a home birth, as well, but the complications caused a change of plans. the new little guy has a big brother and an older cousin, too.

staying in hospital an extra time just to make sure all is well... the maternity ward at this hospital is called the Birth Day Place. she was induced due to intra uterine Growth Restriction. the doc let the midwife attend as well. not all are so kind as to share in this way.
