Subject: BS: Six Nations 2013 Rugby From: Nigel Parsons Date: 04 Feb 13 - 09:47 AM Okay, first weekend over & I'm opening the discussion. I thought I'd leave it to someone else, but nothing happened. We (Wales) lost our first match, which is why I was putting off starting this. First weekend: Wales 22 Ireland 30 England 38 Scotland 18 Italy 23 France 18 Some very good rugby played. Next weekend: 9 Feb: 14:30 Scotland v Italy 17:00 France v Wales 10 Feb: 15:00 Ireland v England C'mon Wales |

They may still recover if they play the rest of the matches as they played the second half. England looked pretty good, with Scotland not quite at their best, and Italy showed that no team is going to walk over them this year. Agreed - some very good rugby, and an interesting Six Nations in prospect. Phil |

Subject: RE: BS: Six Nations 2013 Rugby From: selby Date: 14 Feb 13 - 07:51 AM We won our first two matches but did not want to gloat as it can all turn to poo so quickly, but do think England have the basis of a very god side for the world cup no matter what happens in the 6 nations win or loose. I think both Wales and France are going to be very dangerous for us and then having said that Italy is a worry as well after the France game. Keith |
Subject: RE: BS: Six Nations 2013 Rugby From: GUEST,MikeL2 Date: 14 Feb 13 - 11:11 AM hi Watched most of the games on TV. It is going well for England but I don't think that there are any easy games these days in this Championship. England's win in Dublin was not pretty to watch but as anyone who knows Ireland and Irish rugby will know that Ireland are always tough to beat , especially in Dublin. So for me this is the best performance so far. Like others above I think there is better to come from Wales and France so there is still much to play for. For England ....so far so good. Cheers MikeL2 |
