Subject: RE: BS: Pain in all its Glory From: Bonzo3legs Date: 02 Feb 19 - 05:19 PM My wife had her pre-hip replacement anaesthetist assessment on Friday - oddly enough the same one she had for leg ulcer procedures 18 months ago. This was requested by the consultant orthopaedic surgeon because of associated spinal complications and her recent subdural haematoma. All is well and it just remains for the date to be arranged for the procedure. It seems that spinal anaesthesia which numbs the lower half of the body is now normally used for hip replacement, which allows faster recovery time. Meanwhile the pain gets worse"! |
