Subject: Saturday sessions in Welshpool, Powys. From: Llanfair Date: 16 Apr 13 - 04:26 PM Every Saturday afternoon, 2 till 4, there's an open acoustic session in the market village, under the town hall in Welshpool. There's no beer, I'm afraid, but tea, coffee and cake available. Make yourself known to me with the secret password for a free cuppa. Those Midlanders passing through on the way to the coast can stop for an hour or two, musicians and audience welcome. |

Subject: RE: Saturday sessions in Welshpool, Powys. From: Mr Red Date: 19 Apr 13 - 11:18 AM is there a post code? is this a summer thing? Is the last Thurs session in the Grapes still buzzing? FWIW Stroud Farmers' Market always has music. It is the best Farmers' Market around, famed even, and I see three or four different music sets in the immediate area. And probably another couple round town. |
