I remember him as a great interviewer, and would have liked to see him in that role in recent years.

Sorry to see him go. Seldom missed his commentaries and interviews.
I watched a few of his programs on Al Jazeera, but the old "bite" was gone.

Apparently him and Julie had it going on. I wonder if it was her who persuaded him to produce the film Leadbelly - which i thought was a pretty good biopic.

Watched the Nixon interviews and felt the last one may have been Frost's "finest hour." I enjoyed almost everything he did but it was mainly good entertainment and humorous. The Nixon thing was different and not all that great except for the last one which was unforgettable.

Millicent Martin was resident singer in TW3 (That Was The Week That Was), the programme on which DF originally made his name. Julie Felix, with whom he was then said to constitute an item, appeared weekly on a later programme of his ~~ The Frost Report, I think; along with the Two Ronnies, Barker & Corbett, and John Cleese, who did the celebrated 'Three Classes" sketch.
