Subject: Morris and samba From: Jack Campin Date: 20 Sep 13 - 08:50 AM Today's discovery. I'd been setting up a MIDI metronome via ABC, using BarFly with the drumkit sound set as the instrument. Then I tried listening to a tune file I came across in an obscure place in my filesystem I hadn't looked at in a long time, but forgot to change the sound back first. What I heard was this: http://www.campin.me.uk/Temporary/JL-d.mid What I'd intended was this: http://www.campin.me.uk/Temporary/JL-p.mid The file is a set of tunes from the Morris Ring. There is no change in the ABC, only the instrument selection. (Tempo is a bit too slow). Would they let women in if they dressed in skimpy glittery bikinis and big feathers? |
Subject: RE: Morris and samba From: GUEST,Grishka Date: 20 Sep 13 - 10:13 AM Done that before. Works fine with Mozart ("Alberti figures") or Schubert etc. I remember a decent Cuban Rumba. Transpose until satisfied. |
