I think it is very significant that the head of Southern Baptist Convention is advising his people to stand down. I think that is a major departure from their usual allies, the AFA and the 700 club. "The War on Christmas" appears to be a major fundraiser for the latter 2. This move will tend to starve the beasts, or at least decrease the beasts holiday feast.

Southern Baptist Convention-

16 million members.
The president is Frank Luter, Jr., an African American.
Baptist origins are English, born of persecution, the first church in North America opened in 1682.
The first African American Baptist churches date from the 18th C. The National Baptist Convention, their organization, has 8 million members.
The 1970s was a period of controversy, between moderates and conservatives. In 1995, the Convention leaders renounced racial roots and apologized for their past defense of slavery.

At the present time, the Convention supports heterosexual marriage only, but members are split on the issue.

Calling this large group of Americans, both Black and White, "fundagelical idiots," is the statement of a bigot.

I got mine at SS- I didn't realize at the timeSobeys were also cheap-selling their seasonal buzzards. They brought a pile of 'em out, there was a line of big birds being dragged, pushed and wheeled to the tellers. The PC brand ones were big, and the "butterballed" ones were all uniformly smaller. But they were all up for grabs at under a loonie chirp a pound.I got a bigun- not much room in the freezer for other grub now.
