Subject: BS: how's this for good service From: GUEST,I don't know Date: 23 Feb 14 - 06:55 AM Ordered two items of furniture on line from mail newspaper shop on Thursday at around 4pm. The order stated that unless ordered before 3pm you could not have next day delivery which would have cost £3.95 but I could have Saturday delivery cost £8.95 or 3-4 day normal delivery at no extra cost. Not being in a hurry for the items I choose the free delivery. The e-mail arrived telling me to expect delivery Tuesday or Wednesday & an e-mail would be sent once despatched. Well on Friday slipped out from 8.30am for about one hour & on my return my neighbour called me before I got indoors to say she had two parcels for me, yes the items had arrived - the e-mail telling me they were on there way arrived mid afternoon. Just thought I would praise excellent service & tell others also. |
Subject: RE: BS: how's this for good service From: Bert Date: 23 Feb 14 - 05:22 PM I have this Honda CRV and the radio stopped working. I pulled into a Honda dealership and there was a guy waiting outside. He directed me to a parking spot and asked what I needed. Then he fixed the problem right then and there with no charge. |
Subject: RE: BS: how's this for good service From: Rapparee Date: 23 Feb 14 - 08:16 PM Dryer went bad, the repair would cost more than a new one. Decided what we wanted (Consumer Reports), called the Big Box stores. Nothing for 3 weeks minimum. Called a local store -- on the truck, in the color we wanted (white), and installed within an hour. |
