My sis is an absolute addict of the first Star Trek series. I mean, really seriously into it. Her and my niece are true Trekkies. I always wondered how Mr Shatner kept a straight face in some of the episodes. "It's life, Jim, but not as we know it!" I've seen the actor on recent TV shows, and he has a super sense of humour and, like all truly great personalities, is always willing to laugh at himself. Happy Birthday to him!
