My new book by that title will be on sale in May. I just got notice from the publisher.
It's sort of a sequel to Stories told in the kitchen. Both the old and the new are in one book now.

That sounds like a good title for a murder mystery, but I believe in this case death was more haphazard.

Great for the book. It did catch my eye and I moved on for a day and a half then opened this thread when I'd seen the stuff I wanted to see. Lo, your name was missing from the title. If I'd know it was the new book by you I'd have been earlier responding. Hope that's not confusing. Anyway, just ignore me. I am looking forward to Father Fell Down the Well by Kendall Morse and don't forget to post info about where to buy it when it comes out. Hope things is going good. :-)

Eyecatching title indeed! It made me think of a line we used to use around our house for needing to find out the whole story:

"But I couldn't see to get the blood off the wall..."

This was uttered by our eccentric next door neighbor (with failing eyesight) just as she got out of the car at church, where my uncle had driven her. He tended to just shut out her chatter, and hadn't been paying attention to the whole story leading up to this.

We never did find out, dagnabbit!
