Subject: BS: Father fell down the well From: GUEST,Kendall Date: 15 Apr 14 - 03:29 PM That got your attention, eh? My new book by that title will be on sale in May. I just got notice from the publisher. It's sort of a sequel to Stories told in the kitchen. Both the old and the new are in one book now. Available from Island Port press, Yarmouth Maine. |

Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: Charley Noble Date: 16 Apr 14 - 07:16 PM "Father Fell Down the Well" That sounds like a good title for a murder mystery, but I believe in this case death was more haphazard. Looking forward to this book. Charlie Ipcar |

Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: kendall Date: 17 Apr 14 - 03:57 PM Guest, I think the title is perfect. It is meant to catch your eye. |
Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: GUEST Date: 17 Apr 14 - 04:52 PM Great for the book. It did catch my eye and I moved on for a day and a half then opened this thread when I'd seen the stuff I wanted to see. Lo, your name was missing from the title. If I'd know it was the new book by you I'd have been earlier responding. Hope that's not confusing. Anyway, just ignore me. I am looking forward to Father Fell Down the Well by Kendall Morse and don't forget to post info about where to buy it when it comes out. Hope things is going good. :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: gnu Date: 18 Apr 14 - 12:31 PM K already knows I want one. The only drawback about the news is the loooong wait since he announced a publisher was 'interested' lo those many moons ago. |

Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: CupOfTea Date: 08 Apr 15 - 10:39 AM Eyecatching title indeed! It made me think of a line we used to use around our house for needing to find out the whole story: "But I couldn't see to get the blood off the wall..." This was uttered by our eccentric next door neighbor (with failing eyesight) just as she got out of the car at church, where my uncle had driven her. He tended to just shut out her chatter, and hadn't been paying attention to the whole story leading up to this. We never did find out, dagnabbit! Best luck with the book. Joanne in Cleveland |
Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: kendall Date: 08 Apr 15 - 12:28 PM The title comes from one of the stories. My oldest daughter has just ordered 14 copies of this book. THAT'S loyalty. |

Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: Uncle_DaveO Date: 10 Apr 15 - 09:28 AM At first I thought the title referred to an old-time tune (song?) called The Doctor Fell Down the Well. Dave Oesterreich |
Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: Donuel Date: 10 Apr 15 - 09:39 AM Then Dave yelled "throw father down the well a rope". ... It's a real shame. He probably would have made it if it hadn't been for that damn fracking poison and gas. |
Subject: RE: BS: Father fell down the well From: maeve Date: 10 Apr 15 - 09:41 AM I hope you sell a muckle load of them, Kendall. Maeve |
