Subject: RE: BS: there's a parody to Daniel and the lions From: Liz the Squeak Date: 23 Nov 99 - 08:27 AM It is indeed another of the 'Jokes on the king, drinks on Daniel' strain, and if we ever get them all together in one place, I suspect the universe will collapse. As far as I'm aware, there is no clean version of this.... LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: there's a parody to Daniel and the lions From: Steve Parkes Date: 23 Nov 99 - 12:20 PM There must be hundreds of [what are they? monologues?] like this, like the funny zoo and 'Lulu had a baby' and all that. Someone ought to collect them all and publish them (don't look at me!). I can remember one or two that were current among my friends when I was around six or seven; everybody seemed to know most of the words except me; but I could never find a complete version, or anybody who'd teach me what they knew. Come on guys, start posting those rhymes! Steve |
