A link with no commentary sometimes doesn't get a lot of response. Is this a friend who produces these?

one thing I noticed about rural ireland, the middle part that looks very fertile to me..was the seeming lack of farming or animal growing activity..what is going on? There were a lot of sheep, especially in Dingle area..lots of sheep...and they do eat them more than we do in the US of course...but I saw mile after mile of what looked like just grass..no animals, no visible crops, no orchards...have the absentee landlords come back from Holland etc.? What is going on...mg

The "grassy" areas are ,in fact, Paddy Fields.
