We enjoyed our Channel Ports cruise in September so much, we've signed up for another ; this time to Spain ,Madeira,The Canaries ,and Lisbon.We are just hoping our departure aboard MV "Funchal" next Tuesday (21st)is not hampered by strong winds after this storm across the Atlantic - the Funchal is -er-rather small, to say the least !!

Nights are getting cold and some traveling friends moving on from the Bishop's can use a place to stay a week in Winchcombe.

Good for you mate ! All I have ever done is weekend and day trips as 'Entertainer' , apart from my month on The Rusty B in 1970

What on EARTH were you doing on "The Rusty B" in 1970, Terry ? And,assuming you mean HMS Bulwark ,with her double bottoms pumped full of seacrete to stop her falling apart / sinking or both , did you get a daily "tot" ? And were you still a member of the Royal Crabforce at the time ??

I was a Crabfat in Singapore , and HM Government sent The B to show the flag at Expo 70 in Japan , and made a number of berths available for Far East personnel . I was lucky enough to get on the trip , and had a pleasant month drawing my Tot . A RARE Crabfat , me ! LOL
