But I do use postage stamps. Sometimes I stamp my feet. I been stamped as a teenager going to a dance. I have been stamped as a gun toting cave man. I one stamped really hard and fell through a hay loft. I try not to stamp on bugs or cracks in the sidewalk cause you can break your mothers back. My passport has lotsof stamp. BUT

I used to collect stamps, but I had to stop when I moved from the city to the country. I was afraid that if any of my redneck neighbors found out I was a philatelist they'd burn my house down.

I used to have several first-day issues: Tupenny black, the famous airmail stamp, and several others. My mother used them as postage to pay the bills.

The post office sent someone around to talk to her, and them she talked to me. She said they weren't drawn very well and that I could do better.

I was a stamp collector, specializing in Hungary. I learned about inflation when I saw a stamp surcharged 500,000 adopengo. (see this startling page)

But the best stamp in a collection was the rubber stamp a woman at the EPA had found in the agency store. It said, very clearly, EXPEDIATE!. She loved stamping things with it, and refused to give it up.
