Subject: BS: Cheltenham Gold Cup From: Manitas_at_home Date: 11 Mar 15 - 10:04 AM A horse called Sire de Grugy has just been hailed by a commentator as a folk-hero. Is this going to cause any problems with certain definitions of folk song? |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheltenham Gold Cup From: GUEST,# Date: 11 Mar 15 - 12:43 PM The horse has a Facebook site and talks through an interpreter, likely because the horse was born in France. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheltenham Gold Cup From: Steve Shaw Date: 13 Mar 15 - 01:55 PM Bloke who lived just down the road from us trained Coome Hill, who won the Hennessy Gold Cup in 1996. Poor old Walter died of cancer a few years ago. We used to see him running his horses out most days. He had a special track built on his farm That's as much as I know about racing. I have one bet every year, on the Grand National. I go for horses with nice names. |
