A horse called Sire de Grugy has just been hailed by a commentator as a folk-hero. Is this going to cause any problems with certain definitions of folk song?

Only if it starts singing.

The horse has a Facebook site and talks through an interpreter, likely because the horse was born in France.

Hmm. In last year's race I backed a horse at 20 to 1. It was still running at half past three...

Bloke who lived just down the road from us trained Coome Hill, who won the Hennessy Gold Cup in 1996. Poor old Walter died of cancer a few years ago. We used to see him running his horses out most days. He had a special track built on his farm

That's as much as I know about racing. I have one bet every year, on the Grand National. I go for horses with nice names.
