Hello Raggytash, the accused was given a term of community service and he had already been placed on the sex offenders register.

The whole case is something of a mystery and many questions remain unanswered, it appears that he had also been surreptitiously snipping small pieces from the hair of a couple of young girls on the bus.

Definitely mentally disturbed in my opinion, rather that a serious criminal.
The spectre of "thought crime" never really laid.
