And, it seems to take forever? I stumbled upon this (I stumble a lot.).

Click the submit and then go to the last line of the post and type an extra period and see what happens. POOF! Posted. Magic.

I've noticed that, perversely, very short posts take far longer to take. If you don't believe me, pretend that you don't understand what I'm saying and reply with a solitary question mark...

These days I never hit send until I've copied the damn thing. The one time you forget to do that is the one time that your post vanishes into the ether. Sod's Law I reckon.

Seems to help if you open the post first as a preview.

I use the right click and "open a new tab" a lot on the Mudcat. While my post is submitted, I go back to an old tab and open a new thread from it.
