A cousin of mine was married for just shy of 72 years until her death. Hope you, Louie Roy, exceed that in good health. Her husband, well into his nineties is still with us.

Happy anniversary to you too, Ake. Our 48th is a a few months away, hoping to get to fifty. Would have to live to 100 to match my cousin; don't expect that will happen.

Thanks everyone, my wife's been in hospital for many months and we spent our anniversary there tonight. I passed on the good wishes from my friend #, and will do so for all you good people.

There's no secret, when we started out we were poor with four kids under five years, splitting up wasn't an option even if we had wanted to. You take the highs and the lows....everything life throws at you... everything it lovingly bestows.... and count your blessings.

One year ago today my wife was busy recovering from brain surgery following an accident. Today she's upstairs, getting ready to take another trip on Monday...in straight line distances she's flown about 1.25 times around the Earth since last September 5! I was even with her for some of those trips.

It will be 42 years of marriage in October.

Louie, ya got us beat cold! Congratulations and I hope you don't have to spend any time like I did a year ago.

The day we had our 25th anniversary, we were walking round like we were record- holders, and tyen we ran into a couple who were celebrating 60 years, and we realised we were really newly weds.

Thanks Louie, as well as congratulations. We're 51 years married now, and gave me almost the same feeling again.
