If you type "Scunthorpe" on TheSession website it comes out as Seejithorpe. I once tried to type "Derwentwater's Farewell" and it came out as Derwentwiter's every time I tried. It took me ages to twig that Jeremy had banned the letter sequence t-w-a-t. :-)

I didn't post that as any sort of attack on the Session. That website, for better or worse, is a very different place these days. I still post there in spite of many past admonitions and occasional suspensions, but Jeremy and I have a cordial relationship these days. Take your bile elsewhere, Dick.

I post occasionally to the ABRSM forum, and that has filtering that makes TheSession look like James Kelman. Fortunately all you need to do is s p a c e the words out and the filter doesn't get it.

One of my favourite critiques of the asterisk approach was to take an innocent piece of text and 'censor' it in that fashion. Something like, but better than
