How do you post in the BS section?

I know this post will go to the music related section because I wasn't sure how you post something in the BS section. Seems like I read once about a drop down menu, but where is the drop down menu to start with? When I looked at the BS section of posts I could not see where you actually post something there.
Thank you.

P.S. For us tech. challenged, please be really detailed and specific how to post something (for a new topic) under the BS threads. (not posting under a thread that is already there) as I know how to do that - just need to know how to post a new topic there.

Michael there are guest posts on the bs section. I believe once you have scrolled past the music threads you come to the bs section if you open a thread there and want to post a message then go down to the bottom where the comment box is type your message where it says From the site asks that people posting as guest use a consistent nickname.

If you want to start a bs thread I think that was banned for a while not sure if it still is but if you can start a bs thread to the left of where you put the thread title you will see a box titled Common Prefix if you press the arrow in this box you will see a drop down menu. Hope this helps

This is one of the links at the top of the page, below the Mudcat logo. The drop down menu is at the top of the page, to the right of the logo & contains other interesting links.

Hi, Janet -
When you go to the Create a New Thread page, the top line has a blank for the title of your thread. Just to the left of that title box, is a grey box labeled Common Prefix (optional). If you click on that box, a list of thread prefixes will appear, including BS.
And if you goof up, a moderator will very nicely fix the tag on your thread so it goes to the right place, like I did with this thread.

Nothing personal, Janet, just an expression of long-standing frustration with the way this site - which has soo much potential - is run.
