here we are in Sydney, 30 mins into the New Year.
I was busy typing away when I heard neighbours counting down then lots of BOOMS of fireworks & yells from lots more neighbours.

If I had been more alert I could have watched Sydney's fireworks live but there are pretty pictures on the website so you can have a look.

Just thought that it being New Years that I outta take a minute or three to say, "Hey"...

Me and the P-Vine have had a slobber-knocker of a year and had to move (downsize) for a list of reasons that I don't need to go into but we're in a good place and 2016 is gonna be GREAT...

Hope that all Cat-box inhabitants are doing well and wishing y'all a great, prosperous, healthy and successful 2016...

Bobert, we'll catch up with you later. As long as you two landed on your feet, that's what counts.

Our village, like the surrounding city of Fort Worth, doesn't allow fireworks and such, but they're still going off like gang-busters. I can ignore it, but my dogs are not happy. At all. We'll survive. As long as there aren't guns firing into the air. (Fingers crossed, and alas, the "open carry" law goes into effect right now.)

Here's hoping everyone lands where they want to (and need to) in the upcoming year.
