On the other hand, I get to watch the Pats destroy the Broncos next weekend so it's all good.

What game were you watching, gnu? When the game was on the line the Denver offense and defense stepped up and the Steelers stepped down. That fumble was forced by the Bronco's defense after a decent run and could just have easily come on a short pass. Gotta say though, it was a well-played game and the Steelers gave a good account of themselves.

They were on a roll. They had time left. They were doing well until they stopped doing what was working. I thought the Broncos played, at least in the first half, far below their potential on both sides of the ball. They did well against the run, especially the run up the middle, over and over again... which was my main complaint... over and over again.

Some good points there but still the Broncos finished and the Steelers didn't. On their last defensive stand the Steelers couldn't stop the Denver O and on their last offensive drive (with about 2:40 left and 3 timeouts, an NFL eternity) the Broncos stopped them cold. It ain't how you start it's how you finish, the Carolina/Seattle game to the contrary.

I'm going out on a limb but here are my predictions for the remaining of the football playoff. Broncos 7 points over the Pats and the Cards 3 point over the Panthers. If I'm wrong it will be the first time in 91 years HA HA

Denver D does it! What a show! Now, the Pat's secondary was great and their line did well but the Denver D just shut it down. That was top notch!

Really well played game Pats/Broncs, but the Broncos D kept Brady on the run and out of synch with his receivers. Can they stop Cam Newton? Doubt it. But I thought the Patriots would win today too.

To me,Brady was almost as impressive as the Denver D, he took a pounding, didn't cough it up and almost pulled it out. Credit Manning for doing what he had to do, playing error-free and letting the D carry the load in the 2nd half. Great game to watch.
Gronk and Cam are 2 of the best football players I've ever seen.

Not bad, Louie. I called it 27-10 and was only off by 3 points though I did have the winner/loser part ack-basswards.
It was an ugly but gripping game. Kudos to that Denver D and to Kubiak for trusting in it and not letting his offense lose the game.
