I don't know when it will start here. It's always a week or so later. I'll miss it as well... I just can't see a new "version" being the same without Troy, Liz, Willy and some of the others.

They always pissed me off with their arrogance. BUT... they back it up. Still, though... arrogant. Tough as nails they are but still arrogant. Like I said, it's TV and this will be a soap opera playing out. I figure I know who is gonna win out no matter who "gets the gators".

I expect they will be along. Willie is the toughest SOB I have ever seen on the TV. Minds me of a good ol' Kent County boy by the name of Dale (I have written about Dale many times here at Mudcat). I used to say, "That boy is so tough you could drive him into solid ground." He was suspected of poachin moose one time. I asked him if it was true on accounta... well, that ain't the point. He looked at me and said, "I like to eat. You like to eat? I got a wife an' three kids. THEY like to EAT." I think you can detect the tone of his voice. At that point, I shut the hell up.

Yup. That was wild. Huntin snakes at night... poisonous and nasty critters all around. I never had ta deal with poison stuff like snakes n such but I have had run-ins with bears and yotes when all I had was a knife and knowledge. I suppose it's a bit the same. If ya know what yer doin, yer safe 99% of the time.

Say what want about huntin bein not "PETA correct" but all them PETA yuppies ain't never been in the back woods and don't know squat about what real hunters do and why they do it. They just see dead animals or assholes killin lions n such fer pics and mounts.

Exactly, you and I hunted to put food on the table. I guess they think meat comes in little packages at the market. It's a hell of a lot more humane hunting then what slaughter houses do to those critters
