Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: olddude Date: 19 Sep 16 - 12:10 PM Stuck to me like glue, except when he sees a squirrel. My town however is full of squirrels. My daughter really fixed his back. Fast little dog. Weiner dogs are fast but run out of gas in the long haul Lol |

Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: mkebenn Date: 21 Sep 16 - 09:00 AM I've seen this doc, and the critters are amazing, 'course I knew that from trying to secure my bird feeder. Mike |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: Senoufou Date: 21 Sep 16 - 02:10 PM The garden of our last house was very big (half an acre) and bordered on fields. Lots of grey squirrels used to come in and raid the bird food. All our cats were scared of them. I eventually managed to get one or two to tolerate me, and one used to take peanuts-in-shells from my hand. They'd cling to the fine-meshed feeders and literally suck the food out. All I could do was to continually replenish the feeders! My neighbour called them 'blarsted vermin', but I was rather fond of the little buggers. There was a programme on TV a while back where they set up incredibly complicated systems for the squirrels to suss out to get the reward, and every time they managed it. |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: olddude Date: 21 Sep 16 - 08:21 PM I have two that take peanuts out of my hands. I love the little buggers but Mr sausage dog loves to chase them |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: gnu Date: 21 Sep 16 - 09:15 PM Rats with bushy tails. Wait until they get into your attic and stink up your house. Not so cute then. I mean squirrels... not The Beach Boys. |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: Senoufou Date: 22 Sep 16 - 03:55 AM Hahahaha gnu :) I'd love to find The Beach Boys in my attic. We moved from that house six years ago, and this bungalow has a much smaller garden and no squirrels in the vicinity. But we do have a very nice hedgehog. I miss that other house though. Beautiful fallow deer used to visit the pond, and badgers, foxes, all three species of woodpecker, pheasants, a barn owl, and even once a little ginger-coloured harvest mouse! :( |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: keberoxu Date: 22 Sep 16 - 07:40 PM Keep that Beach Boys theme going: It's the little brown doggie from Pasadena! Go doggie Go doggie Go doggie GO! (I'm silly for that song, harmonica and all) |
Subject: RE: BS: Apologies to the beach boys From: olddude Date: 22 Sep 16 - 08:33 PM Lol perfect |
