I only wish I actually had something to do with the link but the truth is I became Dave the Gnome on Mudcat sometime in 2000. I had not heard of the Spanish cartoon until one of my daughters found it in 2008. As the TV series started in 1987 I cannot say they copied me but, as I had not heard of them, I did not plagiarise either :-)
