239 people were arrested collectively and all were charged with felony rioting punishable by 10 years in prison. Since journalists were in the group arrested, I imagine it will get sorted. 2,390 years of prison time seems a bit harsh for a broken window.

Really? You Yanks are just catching up? PM Stephen Harper did this years ago. He banned ALL civil servants from answering questions from the press or anybody else. He "quashed" requests for information, even from government watchdogs like The Auditor General. He enacted retroactive laws to bar the prosecution of the RCMP for illegal activities after they were directly forbidden by The Auditor General to destroy government documents. I could tell you what else he did (sending years of Dept. of Fisheries libraries' research to the dump was but one... read "burning books") but it would take days. Now we have Harper Lite... Trudeau... skipping out on all the promises he made to clean up the pile of shit Harper shat.

At least Trump is, maybe, scuttling the TPP and it may lead to the end of other "trade agreements with ISDS clauses. Other than that, he is one big pile of vile stinking crap. A sorry excuse for a human being.
