Subject: BS: Life imitates Emoticons... From: punkfolkrocker Date: 04 Oct 17 - 06:22 PM ... and on a brighter note... I was walking home this afternoon and, on the pavement just as I turned off the main street to our house, I was astounded to spot a new dog turd that is the spitting image of the much loved emoticon... ..except it had it's eyes and mouth shut.. maybe a late afternoon nap... But oh what a beauty.. impressive size and substance, a perfect walnut whip in shape... ?? Should have taken a photo, because by tomorrow it'll surely be smeared for several yards down to the shops... Oh how existence is so fleeting..... |

Subject: RE: BS: Life imitates Emoticons... From: Nigel Parsons Date: 06 Oct 17 - 11:03 AM It seems that free-range dogs (those with no-one to pick up after them) are no longer being fed on bones, or bonemeal. I no longer see the 'white' dog poo that used to litter our streets. |
Subject: RE: BS: Life imitates Emoticons... From: Donuel Date: 06 Oct 17 - 03:40 PM Nigel I too remember white poo but hesitated to delve into it. I think it was dry food with lots of ash in it. Also it showed up in the winter. |
Subject: RE: BS: Life imitates Emoticons... From: Teribus Date: 06 Oct 17 - 03:52 PM White dog poo was generally the result of high calcium - from bones and from eating raw meat. Not many dogs on that diet now. |
