sanity always tries to prevail but sometimes it doesn't.

For example the 8 wealthiest families will try and manipulate the market by way of their minions, the Hedge Fund giants. They in turn manipulate at the start of a trading day to head it off at the pass, then again at days close they manipulate more. The market is already 10% down from the high.

When and if that fails the wealthy will only have one choice to correct the trend and that is a Goldman black hat operation.

If one accepts that Obama was smart to have Goldman Sachs in charge of
almost everything ,although I do not condone this,

THEN

it is easy to see that Trump is stupid for ignoring his one true boss.

It has been a tradition to have a Goldman Sachs Hank Paulson type as the Treasury Secretary. Mnuchin failed to speak truth to Trump or Donald failed to understand. I'm not saying it is a good thing, But ya know, we will never be told who decided to correct the predicament.
There will only be conspiracy theories as usual.
Sure I could be wrong but this time I would be somewhat surprised.

Most 'experts' agree there will have to be a mighty ABOUT FACE

If Donald hears this on FOX he could turn around and make this all moot.
He could just as easily double down.

I don't know how close you are to reality in describing the wealthy and powerfuls' reactions to the Current Inhabitant, but...

Trump has pretty much let down anyone who invested in him and I don't expect any exceptions to this experience.

Economically China is more flexible and has more tools/weapons in their toolbox.
China's biggest hammer is deciding to cancel buying our 10 year Treasury bond.
Ultimately the US loses a trade war with China.
I hear a walking back of a trade war tactic already. They are careful to not say that outright but one hears better angels sing in between the words of bombast.

Now China is in a position of helping Trump 'save face' by giving some sort of token compromise on intellectual property that will be ignored later.


Anecdote: Yesterday Trump got a lesson regarding 55 years of US relations with Russia. They started right before the Yalta meeting.
Trump angrily yelled he disagreed and stormed out of the session.
?????????? Is he in a fool's paradise? or does he disagree with objective history?

And given that she is a generation older than him, she has a lot to lose in misreading him.
